NEW MOBILE PHONES

Sony Ericsson Aspen Windows Mobile
Sony Ericsson has launched its latest Windows Mobile, the Aspen.

Sony Ericsson Aspen is the first Windows Mobile handset from the company to sport a 2.4-inch screen and a QWERTY keyboard in a non-slide out format. The company has targeted the business customers by incorporating powerful productivity tools. Apart from that, the cell has powerful multimedia features such as PlayNow and a media browser.

The Aspen is similar in look and design like other handset leaders such as the Nokia E71 and all the popular Blackberry models. The set has a Human curvature design that fits into the palm of the hand. The other features that come up with the phone include HSPA 900/2100 and EDGE 850/900/1800/1900, HSPA 850/900/2100 and EDGE 850/900/1800/1900, WiFi and Bluetooth.

More to it, the set has a 3.2MP camera with 4x digital zoom, GPS, Google Map, FM with RDS technology and 3.5mm audio jack. Playing 3D games is also enabled with this set.

The Aspen can provide 10 hours of talktime and 450 hours of standby time. The Aspen will be available in two colour options, Iconic Black and White Silver. And, the mobile buffs can expect it in the second quarter this year.


Samsung S5620 Monte Phone






According to reports, Samsung is planning to roll out a new mobile phone called Samsung S5620 Monte in coming days.

Recently, a prominent website has reported the news. And, it has also elaborated some of the details including the tech specs.

The Samsung S5620 Monte model as reported by the website would come up with , a 3-inch touchscreen display and incorporates Samsung’s TouchWiz UI. Apart from that, the cell may also carry Bada OS. The other features associated with this set include HSDPA, GPS and 3.5mm headset jack.

This Samsung mobile phone has 200MB of internal memory, MicroSD card support and a camera but without flash support. The device is Wi-Fi enabled and is also 3G supported.

As of now, there is no word of when this Samsung S5620 Monte would be available or what its pricing would be.



BlackBerry Bold 9700 Phone

BlackBerry has launched its Bold 9700 mobile in India. This is a nice set that comes up with several features incorporated with it.

The BlackBerry Bold 9700 handset sports a 2.4 inches Touch-sensitive optical track pad display having 480 x 360 pixels resolution and a QWERTY keyboard. Apart from that this smartphone has support for 2G GSM, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi and a standard 3.2MP camera.

This handset runs with OS v5.0 and is powered by a 624 MHz processor. There is a nice 256 MB RAM to offer enough storage option for the user. The cell is powered by a Li-Ion 1500 mAh standard battery that can offer long talk time up to 6 hours.

Moreover, the BlackBerry Bold 9700 comes with a 3.5 mm audio jack and supports other impressive features like, IM messaging, BlackBerry maps, document editing, video player. The common features such as SMS, MMS, Email are also enabled with this smartphone.

Google Nexus One Desktop Doc
Google has joined the Desktop Dock campaign with the launch of its Nexus One Desktop Dock. It is also said that the new service would be bundled with the Nexus One smartphone and will be available from its Google Store.

Google's Desktop Dock is thought to be custom designed for its newly launched Nexus One phone and will hold the phone upright just like iPhone stands on its Dock. As a user slips the Nexus One on the Desktop Dock, the Clock app launches automatically displaying time and date. Moreover, the Clock app also provides useful information on the weather, set alarms and watch image slideshows.

Playing music has been made enjoyable with this set as there is a 3.5mm-to-RCA audio cable for those who want to listen at higher volume. However, the Bluetooth can help in listening music from A2DP profile. The desktop Dock helps the user in hooking the phone to the stereo system and charging.

Google Desktop Dock is available for purchase now from Google Store, http://www.google.com/phone. This customized stand is priced at $45.

Nokia X6 16GB Handset

After the 32GB X6, Nokia has come out with a 16GB version of the X6 handset. The set has enough memory to store up to 5,500 songs.

The phone sports a 3.2-inch capacitive touchscreen and runs with Symbian OS. It has also a 5MP camera with advanced Carl Zeiss optics and dual LED flash. Apart from that it has the option of editing the videos and users can view recorded content on their home TV due to the facility of TV-out connectivity with it.

The other features with this Nokia phone include the preloaded games such as Spore by EA, Asphalt4 and DJ Mix Tour by Gameloft . Moreover, the Ovi Maps is there to offer free walk and drive navigation like the Lonely Planet guides to the users. The set offers 4.5 hours of video playback and 11.5 hours of stalktime and 18 days of standby time.

Nokia has tried to woo the customers with different shades like black, white, white with yellow highlights as well as white with pink highlights . However, the exact date of release and other specifications are under wraps.


HTC Android Sets - Bravo And Supersonic
There is good news for the mobile enthusiasts as two more Android sets called HTC Bravo and HTC Supersonic are to be launched soon. And the mobile buffs are also keen to take a glimpse of these popular sets.

The Bravo is rumoured to be another version of Google’s Nexus One phone. And, it may run with a Snapdragon processor along with featuring an optical joystick.

The HTC Supersonic phone has been surrounded by many assumptions pertaining to the features and capabilities it will offer. It is expected to be released with similar hardware specifications as HTC’s HD2 phone and also there may be WiMax connectivity options with this set.

Hopefully, both these handsets will be launched at the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona next month and the HTC Bravo may be the first in the line-up in that event. However, the pricing details are yet to be confirmed.


Sony Ericsson Vivaz Phone






According to reports, Sony Ericsson’s brand-new handset ‘Kurara’ will be officially called the Vivaz.

It is expected to be in same design language as that of the Android-based Xperia X10, with smooth lines and rounded edges. This unit will feature the same Symbian S60 theme along with some minor tweaks. Apart from that the phone will be associated with the features including a WVGA display, HSDPA, Wi-Fi, GPS, 3.5mm headset jack, and TV-Out.

The other features that will be associated with the Vivaz include a 8.1MP camera with a 720p resolution, image stabilization, smile recognition, continuous auto-focusing, and geotagging. There is also opportunity for uploading the photos directly to YouTube and Picassa. But, the most enticing feature would be the HD video recording capability with this set.

This Sony Ericsson set is also available in four eye-catching colours like Silver Moon, Cosmic Black, Galaxy Blue, and Venus Ruby. And, the set is slated for a Q1 release. Though, the pricing details are yet to be disclosed.

Two Intex Low-End Phones - IN 6622 And Intex iSmart






Intex has announced the launch of two new dual SIM handsets, the IN 6622 and Intex iSmart.

The IN 6622 is a Dual SIM (G+G), touchscreen device , which sports a 7.1 cm TFT display screen and comes in three variants- deep red, white and black. It comes up with a slew of features like FM radio, Bluetooth, GPRS, Audio and Video and 2 GB of expandable memory. It also features an interesting 'SIM Lock' facility, which will render the phone useless in case of a theft. There is also a 2MP camera for the camera loving people to take nice snaps.

This dual SIM phone is priced at Rs. 4,800.

The other dual SIM phone is the Intex iSmart, which comes with a QWERTY keypad. It features Camera with flash, Bluetooth with A2DP and PC synchronization, expandable memory up to 4 GB and motion sensor. It also has a Blackberry-esque motion track ball for navigation.

Intex iSmart is powered by a 1450mAh battery and can provide 9.5 hours of talktime and 10 days of standby time. This nice set is also comes with a leather pouch.
For the Intex phone users, the iSmart is available at Rs. 4,600.



Acer Liquid Android Phone Comes In Black Colour



This time Acer has come up with a black colour version of its Acer Liquid. So, the users fed up with the white sets would now feel relaxed.

The Acer Liquid white set was also powered by the same Snapdragon processor as in Google Nexus One phone. The new black version sports a 3.5-inch WVGA screen with 800X480 resolution and loaded with Android 1.6 OS. Apart from that the phone has a 5MP camera for taking nice snaps.

The other features in this set include 256MB RAM, Bluetooth 2.0, Wi-Fi, 3.5 mm audio jack, internal antenna, 32GB of expandable memory option etc.

This Acer set can offer 5 hours of talktime and 400 hours of standby time.

It is expected that, the new handset has been released late to counter the Nexus One. But, it has a higher pricing than the Nexus One. The latest Acer Liquid phone is available at $539 (Rs. 25,000 approx.) and is about $10 more than the Google phone.

However, the Indian users may wait for some time to take a glimpse of this set.



Samsung Metro 5200 Phone




Samsung has announced its latest phone, Samsung Metro 5200 in Indian market. This slider phone is different from the usual Corby model and has come up with various features.

Samsung Metro 5200 comes with a slider and sports a 2.1-inch 16M colour screen, 50MB internal memory, FM radio with RDS, music player and office docs support. The device also has an expandable memory slot with 8GB storage option. The package is also bundled with a 1GB memory card, which can be a very good storage option for the mobile freaks.

The other features in this Samsung set include a 3.2MP camera with LED flash and face detection technology. The cell also offers 5 hours of talktime due to the 800mAh battery.
The slider Metro 5200 phone is expected to be available at Rs. 7,439. And, the pricing is also not an issue seeing the variety of features with the set.

Samsung Clamshell Phone- Samsung Corby Folder Coming Soon


Samsung has planned to come up with the clamshell Corby phones, Samsung Corby Folder in the coming days. Earlier, it had announced a wide range of touchscreen handsets and some with full keyboard option.

The Samsung Corby Folder will come up with three clamshell models - the SCH-W930, SPH-W9300 and SPH-W9350. Initially, the phone models are shipped by South Korea's three mobile carriers like SKT, KT and LG Telecom. And, seeing the impressive growth of Corby market in India, these Samsung models are also likely to land in India very son.

The Corby Folder range phones are rumoured to sport each with a 2.6-inch QVGA internal screen, DMB-TV, Bluetooth, 3MP camera and MicroSD card support. There is also a secondary VGA camera for video calls. Apart from that, the not top-of-the-line feature is there, which will definitely attract lots of customers.

This mid range phone is also a good option for the buyers. And, seeing the track record of the Samsung Corby phones, the Samsung Corby Folder set may put a good impression on the mobile enthusiasts. However, the pricing details are yet to come out.


Inbrics H1- A Nice Android Smartphone

After the Google's Nexus One, it is the turn for another cool smartphone called Inbrics H1, which is featured with almost everything that a smart user would want to have.

This is the company’s own version of the phone, which is touted to be an ideal Android phone for the users. Inbrics H1 sports a 3.7-inch WVGA AMOLED Touchscreen and is comparable with the Nexus One’s touchscreeen phone. But, it scores more in the storage sector where it has 16GB memory without the need of a memory card. Though, there is the option for a microSD slot to extend the storage option.

The Inbrics H1 is a nice slim phone which is just half-inch thick and has a full fledged slide out keyboard. It has also a slick UI and runs with the Android 2 version. Apart from that there is a 3.2MP camera which can be useful for taking nice pictures.

This Android phone is expected to be released soon for the users. And, the specs and features are yet to come out
